PERSISTENCE

Though the skies are grey,
And you're left without a say,
There's always something you can hold on,
That'll bring back the brilliance of the noon sun.

Though you may be tossed about,
And on disappointment path you're en-route,
Even in the labyrinth of despair,
A comeback you must prepare...

The men of renown of old,
Had many a defeat untold,
What truly makes a man great,
Is staying power to wade off failure's weight...

Success is from a conviction of purpose,
Though there's doubt's signal don't repose,
A firm resolution will help to compose,
Lyrics of fulfillment defeat can't dispose...

Discouragement is the Napoleon of failure,
In it you become blind to your fruitful nature,
We've all been blessed with some hidden treasure,
This can be revealed through the heat and pressure...

Sticking to a course till its blissful fulfillment,
Is what grants a space in Honor's reserved tent,
To succeed you must believe in GOD and your strength,
'tis a determinant if you must run the race full length...

Doubt is a wildfire all around town,
Its aim is to steal your purpose, victory and your crown,
Courage is the backbone of any worthy incentive,
Subscription to its lifting is your sole prerogative!

Opportunity may come disguised as a challenge,
Cowardice sets a pity, panic and pogromist melange,
Overcoming the odds establishes magnanimity,
Persistence is achievements propriety...

Sure thing you must know while fighting your way through,
Your attitude determines if you'll end in black or blue,
Optimistic persistence can turn the darkest night to arrows of light,
Scaring to flight all fright and shooting you to utmost height...
