GOD'S Generousity And Man's Use Of Freewill: A Reflection on the Gifts We’ve Been Given and the Choices We Make

 

Man is brilliant, but his brilliance is not his own. It is the gift of a generous GOD who blessed him with an intelligent mind and a richly resourced world. Every invention; cars, airplanes, sewing machines, computers... is only possible because GOD provided both the raw materials and the capacity to transform them. Man doesn't create something out of nothing, he only works with what GOD has already given.

But here lies the twist: GOD also gave man freewill and freewill is a double-edged sword. It can be used in alignment with GOD’s wisdom, or it can be twisted into rebellion. Today, man is increasingly choosing rebellion.

We see it in the manipulation of food through genetically modified organisms (GMO); where the purity of GOD’s natural order is compromised for profit and control. We see it in cloning; where man dares to replicate what only GOD can create, forgetting that life belongs solely to HIM.

We see it in the creation of weapons of mass destruction; tools designed not to preserve life but to annihilate it on a scale unimaginable. 

We see it in the obsession with cosmetic plastic surgeries, not for healing but for vanity, an attempt to rewrite what GOD has already declared fearfully and wonderfully made. We see it in transhumanism, where man seeks to merge flesh with machine, striving to redesign humanity itself. These are not signs of advancement; they are signs of arrogance. They are testimonies of a heart that says, “We will be like GOD.”

This is the oldest deception in history; satan’s lie in Eden, now dressed in the garments of disruptive innovations. 

Now, just as rebellion in Eden brought death, inventions that deviate from GOD’s order carry consequences. They distort creation, corrupt purpose, and invite destruction.

Yes, GOD is magnanimous. HE provided everything man needs to live, thrive, and glorify HIM. But HIS generosity does not cancel HIS sovereignty. Inventions that honor HIM testify of stewardship. Inventions that defy HIM testify of rebellion and rebellion always ends in ruin.

The time has come for man to humble himself. To remember that the mind he boasts in is a gift, not an independent source. To acknowledge that the earth he manipulates is GOD’s, not his playground. To repent of the arrogance that seeks to redefine what GOD has already defined.

Man is not GOD and every invention outside of GOD’s ordination is a step closer to chaos. The only safe path forward is the path of alignment; using our intelligence and resources in the service of the CREATOR’s will, not in defiance of it.

The Truth is Clear: when man departs from GOD’s order, he corrupts the very gifts meant to bless him. What was given for life becomes a tool for destruction; what was meant to uplift becomes a snare. GOD’s generosity remains, but so does HIS judgment; for the same gifts that reveal HIS goodness will also testify against those who misuse them.
