Doubting GOD’S Existence When Your Very Design is Proof of HIS Existence is the Highest Form of Foolishness

The existence of GOD has been humanity’s oldest debate, yet the most obvious truth. For centuries, thinkers, philosophers, and scientists have wrestled with the question: Does GOD exist? But sometimes, the answer is not hidden in distant galaxies or complex formulas, it is woven into our very being.

 The human body, the human soul, and the human longing for transcendence testify loudly of a CREATOR.

The Bible affirms in Romans 1:20:

“For since the creation of the world, GOD’s invisible qualities, HIS Eternal Power and Divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”

Our design testifies to our Designer. To reject HIM is to silence the clearest evidence of truth.

THE VOICE OF ATHEISM 

Atheists have often attempted to silence this truth with intellectual arguments. Their statements reveal the heart of skepticism:

1. Richard Dawkins: “We are all atheists about most of the gods that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further.”

2. Christopher Hitchens: “That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”

3. Stephen Hawking: “One can’t prove that GOD doesn’t exist, but science makes GOD unnecessary.”

Though these assertions sound profound, they crumble under the weight of design and existence itself.

The Psalmist declared: “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no GOD.’” (Psalm 14:1)

THE PARADOX OF DENIAL 

Every time an atheist argues against GOD, they unknowingly use the very faculties HE designed; rational thought, moral consciousness, and the ability to communicate. To say “there is no GOD” while using a GOD-given brain is like denying the existence of air while breathing.

Science may explain how processes work, but it cannot explain why they exist in the first place. DNA’s 3.2 billion letters of coded instruction do not write themselves. The gravitational balance that holds planets in orbit is not maintained by chance. The cry of the human heart for justice, love, and eternity cannot be silenced by materialism.

Acts 17:28 affirms: “For in HIM we live and move and have Our being.”

THE EVIDENCE WITHIN 

Look inward: Your heartbeat, consistent and uncommanded, whispers of design (Job 12:10: “In HIS hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind”).

Your moral compass, tugging at you even when you want to ignore it, points to a higher Lawgiver (Romans 2:15).

Your yearning for meaning, beyond money and pleasure, is the soul’s cry for its CREATOR (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

The very design of man is GOD’s irrefutable signature. To deny it is not enlightenment, it is self-deception.

FAITH IS SIGHT, NOT BLINDNESS 

Many claim faith is blind. Yet, true faith is not the abandonment of reason but the fulfillment of it. It is seeing the evidence and acknowledging the Source. Just as ignoring the sun does not stop its rays from burning, denying GOD does not erase HIS presence.

Atheism, dressed in intellectual pride, is often just rebellion against accountability. If GOD exists, then Man must answer to HIM. If Man erases GOD, he crowns himself; but such a crown is made of dust.

Romans 14:11 reminds us: “As surely as I live,’ says the LORD, ‘every knee will bow before ME; every tongue will acknowledge GOD.”

CLOSING REFLECTION 

To doubt GOD’s existence when your very design is proof of HIS existence is not just an error in judgment, it is the highest form of foolishness.

The Heavens declare HIS glory; The firmament declares HIS handiwork (Psalm 19:1). And you, by your very breath, are HIS living testimony.

The choice remains: embrace the evidence and bow to the Designer, or ignore the obvious and clothe oneself in folly.

For indeed, as Proverbs 9:10 declares: “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”
