Cupid's Arrow

Heart is pounding,
Emotion's rocking,
A delve into memory lane,
An objective dosage of pain...

Concentration is hard to find,
Subject has encompassed the mind,
Nothing else could matter,
All options postponed till later...

The heart is on a wanton search,
Soliciting for a rightful haven to perch,
This cannot be greed, or is it?
The whole system's baked by insatiable heat...

Cupid's arrow has struck,
Why did she the calm boat rock,
Why did she arouse the wild dogs from sleep?
Now her Confusion's a heap on heap...

It used to be her property,
But that's a past reality,
To transport the past to the present,
Seemed on her agenda hellbent...

Love is a force so strong,
Even when it seems to be wrong,
Can caress with strokes of loneliness,
And can make to defy all common sense...

Lay me down on Cupids chest,
Fixed to pass its every test,
Its feeling is smoother than milk and butter,
Refreshes like thirst soothing Water...
