Options

Life is a path that's quite uncertain,
With up's down's and all it pertains,
The road uphill is never clear,
The zeal-less are always unwilling to steer...

Life is what you make of it is a statement of truth,
Whether you're a banker, doctor or a brute,
The path we choose is the path we must tread,
With this in mind I say don't fall for a piece of bread...

Slow and steady often wins the race,
If focus is applied in all of the pace,
But never underestimate GOD'S loving grace,
This can show a wanderer his destination's place...

People with little minds are always quick to judge,
Yet they know not how to row, skid or even,plunge,
Their life's ambition is in putting others down,
They always more than likely end up in a drown...

Everyone's got the power to gainfully succeed,
Some people don't because they feel and act like a reed,
Non-confidence is a cut that'll always make you bleed,
I'm able! I'm able! Should be your utmost creed...

Life always gives way to resolute pressure,
Coming from those who must discover their hidden treasure,
But all who fold their hands and watch in idle leisure,
Will suffer most from lack, want, and cardiac seizures...

'tis a lesson I learnt in life never to give up,
Even when it seems the sky above me wants to drop,
With head up high and eyes on my target I earnestly pursue,
Knowing with dogged feet I'll eventually subdue...

Keep your dreams out  of reach but never out of sight,
Because the power to obtain is everybody's right,
Life without a vision is like a moonless night,
Causing one to grope in a pitiable plight...

To win is to can, to won't is to lose,
This decision is everyone's to choose,
Your perception will fetch you the greys or the blues,
The gain of right choices is life on a cruise...
